About CodeLead

CodeLead is the control and reliability layer between AI coding agents and production software. It governs what an agent may do, detects when it fails, changes strategy or model when necessary, validates the result, and produces evidence that the work is actually complete.

The thesis is simple: AI is multiplying the volume of code changes, and every one of them still has to be trusted by someone. Generation is commoditizing; verification is the bottleneck. CodeLead is built for the verification side, and it is proved first where failure is most expensive: legacy modernization.

The design bet, stated plainly: enterprises don't block AI coding because models are weak. Models improve monthly, for free. They block it because nothing is auditable. CodeLead is the audit trail, the gate, and the method; the model is a replaceable worker behind it.

Who builds it

CodeLead is built by Logos Vectis LLC, a company founded in Washington by former Amazon and Microsoft engineers with more than twenty-five years in industry, including principal-engineer and chief-architect roles and years of technical program management at big tech. We have built and maintained systems at scale and worked through large VB6 and C# modernization projects: the kind where the original authors are gone, the tests are thin, and every change is a risk. CodeLead is the tooling we wished had existed on those projects.

The core methods (private, bounded patch generation from structured repository context; an enterprise control plane with change evidence records; and an evidence-derived project knowledge base) are the subject of three U.S. provisional patent applications.

How we make claims

Every figure on this site, the refusal counts, the recall score, the benchmark runs, the three-minute chain, is reproducible from session logs, benchmark reports, and git histories generated by CodeLead's own evidence discipline. We measure before we claim. It is the same rule the product enforces.
